How reliable are Physician 360 tests?

The test accuracy is defined by sensitivity and specificity from clinical trials. Sensitivity is the percentage of results that will be positive when a disease is present. Specificity is the percentage of results that will be negative when a disease is not present. Physician 360 tests use similar methodologies to what you would experience in a hospital or physician office; therefore, the accuracy levels are comparable.

Rapid Group A Streptococcus (Strep): Sensitivity 92% and Specificity 99%

Rapid Influenza A and B (Flu): Sensitivity 70-95%* and Specificity 95.0%

Rapid Urinary Tract Infection (UTI): Sensitivity 76% and Specificity 70%

Rapid Anemia: Sensitivity 94% and Specificity 94%

  • Flu testing accuracy is time-dependent.

Are the kits FDA approved?

All of our kits are FDA cleared tests that require physician approval for purchase and oversight for use. These tests have the same diagnostic accuracy as going into a laboratory.

Do kits expire?

Yes, a test kit’s expiration date is marked on the box and may vary. Typically, it is between 9-12 months from the time you receive it.

Can a patient call their personal primary doctor after taking the test?

While patients are welcome to call their primary care doctors (PCP) after using a Physician 360 test kit, their PCP is not obligated to treat. If the PCP is unable to interpret the test and treat based on the result and the patient's symptoms, please ask them to schedule their Physician 360 consult, which is included at no extra cost with the purchase of a test kit. Who is eVisit?

eVisit is one of Physician 360’s partners. They have built and maintain the remote care platform and electronic medical record that Physician 360 uses to provide consults to their patients. Do you accept FSA payment cards, HSA cards or health insurance?

We currently do accept FSA and HSA payment cards. To use your card, check out like you would normally with any other payment method.

Please note, there is no guarantee that your FSA or HSA card will be accepted as these types of cards tend to have varying rules and regulations attached. If you have trouble using your FSA or HSA card on the Physician 360 website, please reach out to your card’s bank or plan’s administrator.

At this time we are not able to accept payment by health insurance providers.

Do I need a CLIA waiver?

No! Physician 360 offers independent pharmacies a way to offer patients rapid, point-of-care testing without the hassle of obtaining a CLIA waiver.

No! Physician 360 offers independent pharmacies a way to offer patients rapid, point-of-care testing without the hassle of obtaining a collaborative practice agreement.

Are there any hidden fees/secondary charges?

No! When your customer purchases a Physician 360 product, they receive the test kit and the physician consult. Physician 360 does not bill the patient’s insurance so the price they pay upfront is all they will ever be charged.

What if the test doesn’t work/isn’t performed properly?

This is another reason why the physician consult is so important! Even if the test was not performed properly, physicians are trained professionals, who can still assess a patient’s risk for an illness. If you have any questions about test performance, our customer support is available from 8AM to 8PM local time to assist you.

How do I market these products?

Do I need a computer station/private room/wifi?

No, the Physician 360 program is designed to run completely self-sufficient on a patient’s smartphone. Some pharmacists choose to create special spaces or have dedicated technology tools for Physician 360 patients, but it is not necessary.
